Personality Tests used by Human Resource Divisions in Recruitment Pt. 1

Whether you’re a young adult trying to find your place in the world, or a not-so-young adult trying to find out if you’re moving along the right path, it’s important to understand yourself and the personality traits which will impact your likeliness to succeed or fail at various careers. Someone introduced to me some personality tests which employers used and I found them to be somewhat.. entertaining . One for today and another for tomorrow.

Big Five Personality Test
There has been much research on how people describe others, and five major dimensions of human personality have been found.

They are often referred to as the OCEAN model of personality, because of the acronym from the names of the five dimensions.

Openness to Experience/Intellect (High scorers tend to be original, creative, curious, complex; Low scorers tend to be conventional, down to earth, narrow interests, uncreative.)
I scored: 59 and they say You typically don’t seek out new experiences.
A bit buay zhun sia. I have been told time and again that my brain is so weird that I have ideas that has never even been seen before. And I’m curious about every damned thing at the funniest time.

Conscientiousness (High scorers tend to be reliable, well-organized, self-disciplined, careful; Low scorers tend to be disorganized, undependable, negligent.)
I scored: 2 and they say You probably have a messy desk!
> Messy desk, messy room, messy dog, messy a lot of things. I like to call it organized chaos. Disagree with the undependable bit though. Seems like the whole world is on my shoulders.

Extraversion (High scorers tend to be sociable, friendly, fun loving, talkative; Low scorers tend to be introverted, reserved, inhibited, quiet.)
I scored: 37 and they say You tend to shy away from social situations.
> Spot on.

Agreeableness (High scorers tend to be good natured, sympathetic, forgiving, courteous; Low scorers tend to be critical, rude, harsh, callous.)

I scored: 8 and they say You find it easy to criticize others.
True again.

Neuroticism (High scorers tend to be nervous, high-strung, insecure, worrying; Low scorers tend to be calm, relaxed, secure, hardy.)
I scored: 76 and they say You tend to become anxious or nervous.
Call me Queen Neurotic!

Eh wtf this test makes me look like a slacker monster sia. But anyway, here’s the link so you can try it out for yourself.
