Halle Berry joins Michael Kors to help fight world hunger #watchhungerstop

Michael Kors is pleased to announce that Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry is joining forces with the designer to help fight global hunger. Berry will work with Kors to raise awareness as well as funds for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). The Michael Kors brand recently announced a long-term partnership with WFP to raise millions of dollars to help end hunger.
The first project for the pair will be the launch of two specially designed styles of Michael Kors’ best-selling Runway watch as part of the brand’s WATCH HUNGER STOP campaign. For each watch sold, 100 meals will be provided to hungry children through WFP, the world’s largest humanitarian organization fighting hunger. The 100 Series watches will be available exclusively in Michael Kors stores worldwide and on michaelkors.com in the U.S. Berry and Kors are planning a site visit with WFP in the next year to experience firsthand the work done by the organization and to highlight the ongoing need to end hunger that exists in countries around the globe.

In Singapore, they will be available in the Michael Kors Scotts Square store towards mid-May and retailing at SGD489.  The “100 Series” watches is available in mid-size and oversized styles, with Michael Kors signature and the words 100 Series engraved on the back.

*For every 100 Series watch sold, Michael Kors will donate US $25 to WFP. Please note that WFP does not endorse any product or service.
