2D1N at Tanjung Pinang, Bintan

There are a lot of deals nowadays including beauty, fashion, services, dining, travel, etc. I was quite worried when considering which deal to get as there were quite a number of bad reviews from other people saying that “xxoxxox website was not reliable” & “don’t buy from xxoxxox website”. After some research, I cautiously bought my first travel deal from AllDealsAsia at SGD $118 per pax, excluding SGD $25 seaport tax. The deal highlights were: 2D1N Aston Hotel Tanjung Pinang superior room stay with daily breakfast, return land and ferry transfer, 60 minutes massage, seafood/BBQ buffet Dinner on Saturday night and dim sum buffet on Sunday afternoon, no weekend surcharges.

SGD $100 = Rp710,000

Tanjung Pinang Ferry Terminal

First stop: full body Indonesian massage. Excellent service and skills.

Aromatic ginger tea after the massage.

Lunch for me – mee goreng, spicy but tasty.

Lunch for him: Ayam penyet, chicken was skinny.
Our meal in total (with drinks) cost us about SGD $5!

Finally checked in to hotel. Bed was surprisingly comfortable.

From the hotel cafe: (Top to bottom) Peach, tiramisu and black forest cakes. Had these with the complimentary welcome mango juice.

Went a little overboard with midnight snacks >.<

The room service menu had ridiculously cheap prices.
Less than SGD $10 for steak!

Night time swim to work up our appetites for dinner.

Onwards to said dinner. Good spread! The usual suspects like fried rice/grilled noodles, and slightly more premium items like steak.

After dinner walk around the premises. There is absolutely nothing to do there, no shopping centers are any entertainment.. we were reduced to minimart wandering.

KoKo Krunch snack time! Comes with instant milk powder in the containers. Just add water to serve.

Watched Vampires Suck before bedtime.

Next morning: breakfast time!

Empty restaurant. More food for us yay!

His.

Mine.

Dim sum buffet in the afternoon.

Heading back to Singapore.

Home sweet home.
