Many apologies for the lack of updates these few days… I’ve been down with chills and sniffles due to the horrendous haze situation in not-quite-sunny Singapore.
An easy peasy way to do your nail art today – Sharpie Manicures! To my Singaporean readers, Sharpies are the ang-mo equivalent of our Zebra markers. You can try your hand at these styles with Zebras too, but Sharpies come in more variety, like the Metallic and Assorted colour ranges.

The great thing about using these markers is that you can simply take it off with rubbing alcohol (before a top coat) so you don’t have to entirely remove your nail polish if you screwed up your design!
They DO smear if you go over your top coat too slow or too many times, but youputiton.com discovered a great way to combat this problem: Hair spray!
According to her, the lighter the mist the better, so do it from a few inches away. Once the hairspray is completely dry, paint on your top coat. You still want to try to keep from going over it too many times with the top coat, because it COULD still smear, but the hairspray definitely helps!
