[08 Jul 2013] Manicure Monday

I have approximately 300 bottles of nail polish (at last count, including strengtheners and tops coats and what-nots) and only 20 nails so…. I don’t really get around to wearing some of my NPs until eons later.

I remember lusting after Deborah Lippmann’s Happy Birthday a few years ago but it was so damn difficult to get hold of them in Singapore. I liked it cos it was one of the first few large glitter pieces NP around and it jazzed up almost every single coloured manicure.

OPI’s Muppets Collection’s was released in 2011 and I fell in love with Rainbow Connection, an almost dupe for HB. Of course I bought myself a bottle! Two bottles actually… since it came packaged together and looked like it was a good deal. Heh.

But seriously, today I’m gonna share with the swatches of the other polish, which is Excuse Moi! It looks vaguely deep red/pink in-bottle but turns out to but a totally different colour when worn.

Both pictures show Excuse Moi! with China Glaze’s Fairy Dust on my index finger, 3 coats on the middle, 2 coats, then 1.

As you can see, colour is closer to pink on my nails. Which is totally not my type at all =.=

I kinda like how one coat Excuse Moi! looks.. which is my current pedicure actually. Surprisingly, one coat wears better than three with a top. My manicure started chipping just 4 days into wear. My toes still look fine, even after covered shoes abrasions.

One last picture, since I put this on for a dear girlfriend’s wedding.

My 50 carat versus my 0.5 carat diamond.

(PS: Unnie, if you are reading this, the BF says the money he spent on his 0.5 carat can buy all the 50 carats you supplied at your wedding!)
